It will consist of up to 190 floating wind turbines for an installed capacity of about 2.8 GW and an estimated annual production of almost 9TWh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant will be built in multiple, technically independent sections. When fully operational, the annual production will be equivalent to the electricity needs of 3.4 million households, or 3% of Italy&#8217;s total electricity consumption.
