The project involves the building of a garage for public transport vehicles and an integrated car park system.
The eight-storey garage standing 32 m tall, occupies a total covered surface area of 22,500 m2 and offers 669 parking spaces. The two-span access viaduct measures 57 m in length and links to the top-storey of the car park.
A large part of the structure, with the exception of the foundations and some elevated works, was built using precast elements. This project highlights the major attention paid to environmental impact during design activities. Indeed, the car park joins up with the slope’s morphology, staying below the existing road that it links to and which offers access to the car park.
