Performance of works to widen the motorway and improve safety along the Carmagnola – Priero segment

The project is split into two lots, Lot 7 consisting in works to widen the motorway for a section measuring approximately 6.5 km,
with the construction of 7 viaducts for a total length of 1,950 m, and Lot 3 consisting in works to widen the southbound carriageway for a section measuring approximately 6,725 m. The second lot also includes construction of the new Stura di Demonte viaduct with 31 spans and measuring a total of 2,750 m. The viaduct has a steel-concrete composite frame with spans of 90 m each and a maximum pier height of over 80 m.
