Works to modernise and upgrade to Type 1/b of CNR/80 regulations

The project involves the construction of approximately 7.5 km of a new section of the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway. The project’s characteristic features include a twin-tube tunnel, with each tube measuring 2,730 m in length, a steelconcrete
composite viaduct measuring approximately 600 m and lastly a cut-and-cover tunnel measuring 560 m. An embankment road section measuring a total of 3.5 km in length and a 1.5 km interchange ramp, a part of which forms a viaduct, complete the project.
